In February I took on my first commission, when an organist friend passed on a request he received through WAMTA. It was for 10 recordings of hymns on the organ, which will be turned into a video with lyrics for people to sing along to.
I wrote the arrangements, with most transposed to very specific keys. I then recorded myself playing each hymn on a pipe organ, and edited the audio files. The last bit of editing was completed today, with all audios and arrangements now submitted.
This was an experience I enjoyed immensely, and would be very open to doing it again!
