Meet the teacher

Simone Collins has over 40 years experience playing both piano and organ, is an accomplished performer, has published her own music arrangements, and has over 20 years of teaching experience.

Playing for enjoyment

Simone is happy to work with adults who would like to play for enjoyment, especially on the organ, regardless of age! Limited lesson slots are available during school hours.

Simone also prepares students for exams, primarily through the AMEB, Rockschool, Con Brio and AGMS. With a speciality in modern / contemporary music, Simone is one of the most experienced teachers in Perth for successfully putting students through Rockschool Piano & Keys exams.

Introducing rock drum lessons with Ariana

Our Canning Vale home studio has expanded to include rock drum lessons for beginners. Ariana Carot Collins is a WAAPA student and an experienced performer, as the drummer of Perth rock band The Ruby Keys.

Congratulations to Melissa Almeida Mangiapia for earning a Platinum Award in the 2025 Australian Guild of Music & Speech Virtual Festival for her performance of “Ode to Joy” in the Step 2 Piano category.

Rockschool Grade 5 Results for Emma

Congratulations to Emma, who successfully completed her Rockschool Grade 5 Piano exam back in March with very pleasing results just 8 months after completing her Grade 4 exam. The certificate finally arrived today.
