I’ve decided to move my arrangements of sheet music to a dedicate website on a subdomain of this one, so that I can handle all the sales of pieces in the public domain in house. I discovered that most traffic to my arrangements was coming to my website first and I was then sending them to Sheet Music Plus. By hosting those pieces myself, I’ve been able to drop the price below the minimum that site requires.
I had started setting up a plugin to do that here on the main website, but realised having a second log in section would be confusing since there’s already a log in for the Student Portal on this site.
So today I’ve launched shop.musicwithsimone.com.au to house all my arrangements of pieces in the public domain. Anything still under copyright still needs to be purchased through Sheet Music Plus so they can handle licensing.
I’ll be focusing on digitizing more of my hand-written public domain arrangements so the new site is not so sparse!
