“The Holy City” by Stephen Adams was a song that my father used to play on the organ when I was growing up. He played from a piano arrangement that had chord symbols. It was one of my favourite songs to hear him play – so much so that when I was 10 years old I arranged an organ version myself, which I performed in the 1988 Electone Festival, and went through to the State Finals with. I digitised and published my organ score a few years ago, and it was so popular that I’ve now arranged a piano version based on my organ arrangement.
This arrangement of “The Holy City” is for intermediate piano. Lyrics are included.
